Chandigarh Golf Club (CGC) members are relishing the unique experience of enjoying the club's swimming pool even during winter, thanks to recent upgrades. Equipped with heating pumps, no leaks, and a state-of-the-art filtration system, the all-weather pool has become a popular attraction for members seeking a refreshing swim in December.
As the first private club in the city to offer a functional all-weather swimming pool exclusively for its members, CGC has created a distinguished facility. The conversion took place earlier this year after the club management, post-annual general elections, allocated nearly ₹73 lakh to address seepage issues and transform the pool into a versatile, all-season amenity.

Dr. Agnish Rajesh, Chairman of CGC Swimming Pool and Health Club, emphasized the successful transformation achieved through modernization. With a heating system maintaining a comfortable water temperature of 29-30 °C, the pool is now accessible twice a day. Renovated changing rooms enhance members' convenience, and the aesthetic appeal of the pool has been elevated with improved water circulation and efficient debris collection.
Club members express their satisfaction with the upgraded pool, highlighting the joy of being able to swim even during the winter months. The enhanced facilities have eliminated the need to wait for summer, offering a refreshing change for the delighted members.
