Sanjay Singh, the newly elected chief of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), suspended by the Union Sports Ministry, is seeking a resolution through dialogue with the government. The ministry suspended WFI, alleging rule violations in announcing dates for the U15 and U20 National Championships. Singh, an associate of BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, maintains that the newly formed association adhered to all rules and aims to have the suspension lifted through discussions.
Sanjay Singh emphasizes the need for dialogue and plans to seek time from the sports minister, requesting the suspension's withdrawal. If dialogue fails to yield a favorable response, Singh mentions exploring legal options to address the situation.
