In a notable development, the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in Mansa has hastened the legal proceedings in the Moose Wala murder case by quickly committing the chargesheet against key conspirator Sachin Bishnoi to the sessions court. The move follows the submission of a third supplementary chargesheet by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) within two weeks.
Sachin Bishnoi, the nephew of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is facing charges related to the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The CJM's expedited commitment of the chargesheet for a January 23 hearing contrasts with previous instances, showcasing a quicker legal response. The SIT has implicated Sachin and other gangsters in a series of revenge killings between rival gangs, bringing the total accused to 34, with several arrests, encounters, and absconding individuals.
