Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Rewari on Friday to lay the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Majra Mustil Balkhi village. This will be the 22nd AIIMS project initiated by the Centre in the country. The hospital, spanning across 210 acres, is estimated to cost ₹1,650 crore.
The AIIMS in Rewari will feature a hospital complex with 720 beds, a medical college with 100 seats, a nursing college with 60 seats, and an AYUSH Block with 30 beds. Other amenities include residential accommodation for faculty and staff, hostels for undergraduate and postgraduate students, night shelters, guest houses, and an auditorium. The hospital will offer patient care services in 18 specialties and 17 super specialties.

Gurugram MP Rao Inderjit Singh highlighted that PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the Gurugram Metro Rail project during his visit, a venture valued at approximately ₹5,450 crore. This project, spanning 28.5 km, will connect Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-5 and integrate with the existing metro network of Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City.
Furthermore, PM Modi's visit aims to address the pending demands of AIIMS in Rewari, which serves the medical needs of southern Haryana and Rajasthan residents. The establishment of AIIMS is expected to generate employment opportunities for around 3,000 individuals directly and 10,000 indirectly.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) stated that PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects amounting to over ₹9,750 crore. These projects encompass urban transport, health, rail, and tourism sectors, including the inauguration of Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar in Kurukshetra and the doubling of several rail lines. Additionally, the Rohtak-Meham-Hansi rail line, spanning 68 km, will also be inaugurated, reducing travel time between Rohtak and Hisar.
