In Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district, three individuals were apprehended after a man was caught taking the police recruitment test on behalf of a candidate. The impostor received a payment of Rs 6 lakh for his services.
Police Superintendent Vinit Jaiswal reported that Kundan Kumar Chaudhary was arrested at the exam center during the second shift of the test. He was attempting to take the exam in place of Tanmay Singh, with plans to repeat the act for another candidate, Harvinder, the following day.
Kundan Kumar, a resident of Bihar's Nalanda district, had been hired by Tanmay Singh and Harvinder to impersonate them during the exam. The arrest occurred in Gonda, shedding light on an organized scheme of impersonation for the recruitment test.
Following the arrest, a case was filed against all three individuals at the Nawabganj Police Station. Additionally, the authorities seized a Swift car believed to be connected to the impersonation scheme.
