Two Chinese surveillance vessels, Xiang Yang Hong 01 and Xiang Yang Hong 03, have been identified in the Indian Ocean Region, causing concern for Indian authorities. Xiang Yang Hong 03 is currently docked at Male, Maldives, while Xiang Yang Hong 01 is heading towards the Bay of Bengal, possibly bound for Colombo, Sri Lanka, for operational turnaround.
