Alia, though hesitant at first, eventually agreed and sang the song "Ikk Kudi" from the movie "Udta Punjab." Alia organized the Hope Gala in support of Salaam Bombay, a charity focused on empowering at-risk children in Mumbai through educational programs. The gala was attended by influential figures from India and London's philanthropic circles.
On the professional front, Alia recently wrapped up shooting for "Jigra," a film co-produced by Karan Johar and herself. Directed by Vasan Bala, the movie is slated for release on September 27th. This collaboration marks Alia's first project with Vasan Bala, known for his work in crime thrillers like "Monica O My Darling" and "Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota."
