Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has been chosen by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to encourage young people to vote in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Santosh Ajmera, Director of Voter Education at the ECI, commended Ayushmann for his invaluable and pro bono support for the recent ECI campaign TVC. The campaign aims to address issues of urban and youth apathy towards electoral participation. Ajmera praised Ayushmann's role in the campaign, highlighting that the actor's message resonates well with his predominantly younger followers.
