The heist comedy film "Crew," directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, continues to impress at the box office. Starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, the movie had a strong opening and has maintained its momentum even in its second week.
On its second Sunday, "Crew" collected ₹5.4 crore, indicating a steady increase in earnings compared to the previous days. With this growth, the film is edging closer to crossing the ₹60 crore mark in India.
In its first week, "Crew" garnered ₹43.75 crore, followed by ₹3.75 crore on day 8. The film saw further growth on day 9 and day 10, accumulating ₹5.25 crore and ₹5.4 crore respectively. As per early estimates, the total earnings now stand at ₹58.15 crore. Additionally, the film recorded a Hindi occupancy rate of 21.57% on its second Sunday.
Kriti Sanon, one of the lead actresses in "Crew," expressed her delight over the film's success in a recent interview. She emphasized that the positive response to the film signifies a positive change in the industry and shared her admiration for co-stars Kareena Kapoor and Tabu. Kriti praised their resilience and strength, stating that she had admired them even before entering the industry.
"Crew" follows the story of three air hostesses portrayed by Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti, who embark on a wild adventure after discovering a dead passenger smuggling gold biscuits. Alongside the leading ladies, the film features Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in pivotal roles.
