General Chauhan engaged in dialogues with top French defence officials, including General Thierry Burkhard, to discuss areas of common interest and exchange views on security challenges. The visit emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in addressing contemporary security threats and advancing defence capabilities.

During the visit, discussions at France's Directorate General of Armament centered on enhancing the exchange of high-end dual-use technologies. Additionally, the visit included wreath-laying ceremonies at War Memorials, honoring soldiers of the Indian Expeditionary Force who fought during the First World War. These memorials symbolize the enduring Indo-French relationship and the shared sacrifices made by both nations.
