Ritish Pandit, a final-year student pursuing B.A. Hons. in Economics at S.D. College in Chandigarh, has been offered admission into the Masters in Computational Social Science program at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Jodhpur. Ritish secured the impressive All India Rank 2 in the nationwide test and interview conducted by the IIT.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Ritish is the President of the Readers Club at the college library. He has also undertaken internships at the Economics and Statistics department of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and The Indian Express. Ritish is also an independent journalist, with his work published in esteemed media platforms such as The Quint, The Indian Express, Article-14.com, Scroll, and Outlook India, among others.

Ritish expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his grandparents, Mr. Om Parkash and Mrs. Sudesh Kumari, as well as his parents, Mr. Vijay Pandit and Mrs. Babita, for providing him with the best possible opportunities despite various constraints. He also extended his appreciation to the college principal, Dr. Ajay Sharma, along with teachers Dr. Gurpreet Singh and Mr. Shubham Monga, and friends, for their guidance and support throughout his academic journey.
