Actor Dhanush has made a significant contribution towards the construction of the new building of Nadigar Sangam, also known as South India Artistes’ Association, in Chennai. His generous donation of ₹1 crore from his personal funds has been warmly received by the association.

A heartfelt gesture

Dhanush's contribution was acknowledged with gratitude by the association's President, Thiru. Nassar, Treasurer Thiru. Karthi, and Vice-president Thiru. Poochi S Murugan. They presented him with flowers as a token of appreciation for his kind gesture.

This act of generosity from Dhanush aligns him with other actors who have also contributed towards the construction of the new building. Notably, actors Vijay and Kamal Haasan had previously donated ₹1 crore each for the same cause, demonstrating their commitment to the association.

Vishal, the association's General Secretary, expressed his gratitude towards Vijay and Kamal Haasan for their generous contributions. He thanked them for their support and emphasized the significance of their donations towards the construction of the new building.

While Dhanush's philanthropic gesture is commendable, fans can also look forward to his upcoming projects. He was last seen in the 2023 film "Captain Miller" and is set to appear in the multi-lingual film "Kubera," directed by Sekhar Kammula. Additionally, Dhanush is directing and starring in the Tamil film "Raayan," alongside actors like Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and SJ Suryah.
