Telugu actor Hema denied attending a rave party in Bengaluru, but the police have confirmed she tested positive for drugs. Following a raid, Bengaluru Police revealed that Hema is one of 86 people who tested positive for drug consumption.
On Monday morning, the police raided a farmhouse in Bengaluru where a large party was being held under the pretense of a birthday celebration. During the raid, they discovered drugs being used. Despite Hema’s video statement claiming she was not at the party, the police presented flight tickets as evidence that she traveled to Bengaluru. They also accused her of making false statements. The party, which took place on May 19 and 20, involved over 100 attendees, and complaints were filed about public disturbance and drug use, including MDMA, cocaine, and hydro-ganga. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) took over the investigation and plans to issue notices to those who tested positive for drugs.
