Actor Deepika Padukone recently sold a yellow gown she wore to an event for her beauty brand, 82°E, for ₹34,000. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity. Deepika announced the sale on her Instagram, sharing that the gown was part of the "Fresh off the Rack" initiative, which aims to support charitable causes. Within minutes of her announcement, the gown was sold out. Deepika also shared pictures of herself in the gown on her Instagram, inviting her followers to participate in the sale and highlighting the charitable purpose behind it.

The yellow gown, designed by Gauri & Nainika, was described as an "empire cut cotton midi with a dramatic flare." Deepika’s team claimed that the gown was sold within 20 minutes of being posted online. Deepika has been actively using her platform to promote her charity work, including her efforts through the Live Love Laugh Foundation. She shared a link to her foundation’s helpline resources, encouraging her followers to seek help if needed.
