A tragic accident on Highway 3 in British Columbia, Canada, led to the death of four members of a family from Faridkot, Punjab. The crash occurred near Becks Road in Keremeos and shut down the highway for eight hours on Wednesday. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police reported that the accident involved three vehicles: a semi-truck and two cars.

Victims identified

The victims were identified as Sukhwant Singh Brar, his wife Rajinder Kaur, their daughter Kamal Kaur, and his sister-in-law Shinder Kaur. They were residents of Abbotsford, British Columbia, and were traveling to meet a family friend in Kelowna when the accident happened around 11:30 am.

The police described the scene as a "terrible tragedy" and confirmed that all four family members were found dead in their vehicle. The collision involved a tractor-trailer and two cars, resulting in a severe disruption on the highway for several hours.
