Kusale, from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, finished with a score of 451.4 in the final, placing third. China’s Liu Yukun won gold, and Ukraine’s Serhiy Kulish took silver.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Kusale for his impressive performance. On X (formerly Twitter), Modi congratulated Kusale, highlighting his resilience and skill. Modi noted that Kusale is the first Indian to win a medal in this category and expressed that all Indians are proud of his achievement.
