Pawan Kalyan, now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, turns 56 on September 2. Initially, updates about his upcoming films, They Call Him OG and Hari Hara Veera Mallu, were scheduled for his birthday. However, due to severe flooding in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, these updates have been postponed.
The heavy rains have led to flooding, landslides, and loss of life in the region. The producers of *OG*, DVV Entertainment, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that they would delay all birthday-related content. They stated, “#OG is not just a film; it’s a celebration for everyone. Due to the ongoing floods, we’ve decided to push back our celebrations to a later date.”
Similarly, the team behind Hari Hara Veera Mallu shared that they would also postpone their birthday poster release. They noted, “While we planned an exciting poster, the severe floods make it inappropriate to celebrate now. We hope everyone understands.”
Pawan Kalyan, who leads the Jana Sena Party, won all 23 seats his party contested in the 2024 elections. He is now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Despite his busy political career, he has three films pending. Pawan mentioned that he will finish these projects when he finds time away from his political duties.
