Atishi, a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is now the chief minister of Delhi. She is the third woman to hold the position, following Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dikshit. Atishi is also the youngest person to serve as the CM of Delhi. Though her tenure will be short, with assembly elections scheduled for February next year, she will manage several important portfolios.
Atishi will oversee 13 departments in her government, many of which she already handled in the previous administration led by Arvind Kejriwal. Her responsibilities include Public Works, Power, Education, Finance, Law, and Water.
