The family of a man accused of killing a 29-year-old woman in Bengaluru has alleged that the woman used to extort money and physically abuse him. The accused, who was found dead by suicide in Odisha’s Bhadrak district, had confessed to his brother about killing the woman. He said she blackmailed him, demanded valuables, and even got him beaten up in public.
The accused killed the woman, cut her body into 59 pieces, and stored it in a refrigerator in their Bengaluru apartment.

The accused’s brother claimed he was tortured by Bengaluru police to reveal his brother’s actions. He was taken to various locations before being released. Their mother also said her son had been stressed and told her he killed the woman to protect himself from her abuse.
The police found a suicide note where the accused admitted to killing the woman after an altercation.
