Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh recently performed at a packed concert in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. However, a surprising moment during his performance has become a viral highlight. A video from the event shows Diljit pausing his show to address fans watching from a nearby hotel balcony without tickets.
During the concert, Diljit was performing on stage when he suddenly noticed something unusual. He stopped singing and gestured for his team to pause the music. With a surprised expression, he pointed towards the hotel, saying, “Those sitting in the hotel balcony, you’re lucky! The hotel outsmarted us. Without tickets, huh?”
The camera captured the scene, showing several people on the hotel balcony enjoying the concert for free. Despite the unexpected situation, Diljit continued his performance, smiling and gesturing playfully at the balcony viewers.
Fans on social media shared the video with captions like, “The hotel outsmarted him.” One fan joked, “Next time, we’ll book the hotel,” while another said, “They paid more than the ticket price!”

At the same concert, Diljit also addressed a separate issue. He promised to stop singing songs about alcohol if liquor stores across India were shut down. This statement followed a notice from the Telangana government before his Hyderabad concert, asking him to avoid songs promoting alcohol, drugs, or violence.
In response, Diljit altered the lyrics of his popular songs like *Lemonade* and *5 Taara*, replacing references to alcohol. He said he was willing to support a movement against alcohol if the government took strict actions.
The Ahmedabad concert was part of Diljit’s ongoing *Dil-Luminati Tour*. His next performances include Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, and Kolkata on November 30. The tour will continue to Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati, ending on December 29.
Diljit’s playful interaction with fans and his thoughtful remarks about alcohol have made his concerts more than just music—they’ve become a platform for meaningful conversations and memorable moments.
