Donald Trump plans to attend the launch of Elon Musk's SpaceX Starship rocket in Texas. This test flight, the sixth for the massive rocket designed to carry humans to the moon and Mars, highlights Musk's growing influence in Trump's political sphere. Musk has been actively involved in Trump’s presidential transition, helping select cabinet members and participating in calls with foreign leaders.

Trump’s admiration for Musk has been clear during his rallies, where he frequently praises the entrepreneur’s achievements. This attendance follows other high-profile events shared by the two, such as a recent UFC match in New York.

A growing partnership

Elon Musk's support for Trump during the presidential campaign included significant financial backing, with over $130 million spent on Trump’s bid and other Republican candidates. Musk also campaigned for Trump in swing states, contributing to his win in Pennsylvania.

Trump announced plans to establish a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), with Musk and former Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy at the helm. The department aims to recommend federal spending cuts. Trump has referred to Musk as a "super genius," emphasizing the importance of nurturing exceptional talent.

This collaboration reflects a deepening bond between the two influential figures, with potential impacts on technology, governance, and innovation.
