Famous IITian Baba, known for his unique blend of spirituality and intellect, has reportedly left the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj under mysterious circumstances. According to media reports, Baba vacated his camp in Juna Akhada and headed to an unknown destination. This sudden move has left everyone, including his followers and family, puzzled.
It is believed that Baba’s parents were on their way to meet him at the Mahakumbh, but before they could arrive, he disappeared. While the exact reason remains unclear, speculations suggest several factors might have influenced his decision. Reports indicate that intense media attention and continuous interviews may have caused him distress. Baba allegedly shared some controversial remarks during interviews, further complicating matters.
Originally from Jhajjar, Haryana, IITian Baba’s real name is Abhay Singh. His rise to fame began when he became widely known at the Mahakumbh as “IITian Baba” due to his prestigious educational background as a 2008 IIT graduate. His father revealed that Abhay has been inclined towards spirituality since childhood, describing him as different from others in his approach to life.
Baba’s family has been trying to reconnect with him, but he has blocked their phone numbers. His father recounted a previous attempt to meet him in Haridwar, which also failed as Abhay left before they arrived. Despite their hopes, the family now fears that he may never return home. His father stated, “We want him to come back and live with us, but he seems determined to follow the path of a monk.”
