According to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the car was carrying four people when it fell into a deep ditch about 900 meters down.

As soon as the authorities received information about the incident, the SDRF team quickly arrived at the spot to begin rescue operations. They worked to save the injured passengers and recover the bodies of those who lost their lives.

An SDRF official stated, "We received a report that a car with four passengers had fallen into a 900-meter-deep ditch in Chakrata, Dehradun. Our team reached the site immediately to carry out the rescue operation."

The two injured passengers were rescued and given immediate medical attention. Their current condition is being monitored by doctors. Meanwhile, the bodies of the two deceased passengers were brought out of the ditch and sent for post-mortem examination. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

The SDRF team responded swiftly after receiving the alert about the accident. They carefully conducted the rescue operation despite the difficult terrain and steep slope. The ditch was about 900 meters deep, making it challenging for the team to reach the site.

Eyewitnesses said that the car lost control while driving along a sharp bend on Bundel Road, which caused it to plunge into the ditch. The SDRF team used special rescue equipment to reach the vehicle and bring the injured passengers to safety. The bodies of the deceased were also recovered after a difficult operation.
