According to travel tracker Flight Aware, the impact was seen worldwide, with over 3,000 flights cancelled on Monday and 1,100 more on Tuesday. Thousands of planes have been cancelled or delayed at the same time. Many airlines have stated that their personnel are unable to travel owing to Omicron coronavirus outbreaks.
