In Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch and lay foundation stone for several developmental projects worth Rs 49.36 crores via video conference, according to Amit Shah's office in a Hindi tweet.

Shah has been speaking at rallies in Uttar Pradesh as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's campaign for the upcoming assembly elections, in which the party hopes to win a second term in power.

On Tuesday, the home minister went to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, to pray at the Sankat Mochan Temple.

In Hardoi and Sultanpur, he also spoke at rallies.

During his speech, Shah took aim at the Samajwadi Party, claiming that the party uses a different interpretation of ABCD, which the BJP has laid to rest.

The ABCD of the Samajwadi Party is backward.

The letters A and B represent for 'apradh and aatank' (crime and horror), respectively, and 'B' stands for'Bhai-bhatijavad' (nepotism), 'C' (corruption), and 'D' (danga) (riot). "Thanks to the BJP, this ABCD is finally over," Shah said.

Shah expressed optimism about the BJP's chances of winning the state assembly elections next year.

The BJP secured a strong majority of more than 300 of the state's 403 seats in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly election, propelling it to power.
