The much-anticipated magnum opus 'RRR,' directed by S.S. Rajamouli, has been postponed. The film was supposed to be released on January 7th.

There has been a lot of chatter on the internet in recent days concerning the postponing of RRR due to an increase of Covid-19 instances in the country. And, as expected, the producers have issued an official statement on the subject.

Despite our best efforts, some situations are beyond our control, according to the film's production studio, which released a photo. We have no choice but to ask you to hold on to your joy as many Indian states close theatres. We vowed that we would bring back the glory of Indian cinema, and we will.

"Keeping the best interests of all interested parties in mind, we are compelled to postpone our film," stated the caption of the tweet. Our heartfelt gratitude to all of the fans and audience for their unwavering support."
