On Monday morning, a fire broke out in a furniture scrap shop in Mumbai's Ghatkopar neighbourhood, but no one was injured, according to civic officials.
They said the fire started around 10.30 a.m. in the shop at D'Silva Compound in Asalfa's Sunder Baug area.
According to a local official, at least eight fire engines and water tankers were dispatched to the scene, and firefighting is still ongoing.
The official stated, "There was no report of anyone being injured."
He added that after being alerted, police and ward staff were on the scene, as well as ambulances.
He stated the cause of the fire had yet to be determined.
