A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh led by state President Arun Sood comprising of Ex-President and Co-Incharge BJP Himachal Sanjay Tandon, Former Member Parliament and Additional Solicitor General Satya Pal Jain and Vice President Raghubir Arora met Governor Punjab & Administrator Chandigarh and submitted a memorandum demanding high level inquiry into the episode of security lapse of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In its memorandum BJP mentioned that "Whole nation was shocked to see the manner in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security was compromised by Congress led Punjab Government. It was a major lapse in his security when he was stuck atop a flyover for 15-20 minutes while on his way to Ferozepur, Punjab due to the road being blocked by some protesters".
Arun Sood said that this is an exhibition of the anti-Modi narrative of Congress. It shows the mentality of those who could not go beyond their family’s interest and accept Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister. There has been negligence on the part of Punjab Government but they are trying to put the blame on others.
Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh demands a thorough investigation of the incident and all the people associated with it should be punished severely.
