The Weeknd has released his new album, “Dawn FM,” which he revealed earlier this week. Described as “a new sonic universe from the mind of The Weeknd,” The musician’s previous album, ‘After Hours,’ was released in 2020. The album features several unique collaborations in addition to attractive rhythms and breathtaking imagery.
Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, and After Hours producer Oneohtrix Point Never are among the musicians featured on the album.
Jim Carrey, throughout the album, serves as a narrator for the listeners. The ‘Mask’ star tweeted on Monday night that he was listening to Dawn FM with his ‘good pal’ Abel Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd. He described it as “deep and graceful,” and it danced him around the room. He also expressed his delight at becoming a part of the symphony.’
The Weeknd’s fans (XO) have taken to social media after the album was released globally. The hashtags ‘The Weeknd,’ ‘Dawn FM,’ and ‘The Weeknd’ are trending on Twitter, and the artist is receiving praise from fans all over the world, claiming it to be the album of the year.
