Even though Bollywood actress Koena Mitra has been MIA recently, her scorching hot performance in the song 'O Saki Saki' from the 2004 film 'Musafir' cannot be forgotten.
Looking at her now, one could say she appears different than she did back then.
The 'Apna Sapna Money Money' star has already acknowledged to going under the knife and having surgery to change her appearance. However, she now believes that disclosing her plastic surgery was the biggest mistake of her life because she was tortured for about three years as a result of it. Many Bollywood celebrities have also distanced themselves from her.
"When I first came here, I had no idea that one should not discuss one's surgery,"
“Someone asked me, and I talked about my surgery. Soon after that, it felt like the entire world came after me. I was tortured for my surgery for three long years. Constantly, the media ran negative news items about me. Many people from the industry also distanced themselves from me at the time and it also affected my work. I feel like laughing because people would advise me to stay strong, but not support me in front of the media.”
She concluded, “My face, my life, whatever I do, what have other people to do with it?”
As a result, there was a chasm between her and the industry. That's when she made the decision to immigrate to the United States. She may, however, appear on the screen in the near future.
