In the most recent entertainment news, iconic vocalist Lata Mangeshkar, also known as the Indian nightingale, has been hospitalised to hospital after contracting Covid 19. After testing positive for COVID-19, the 92-year-old singer was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital's ICU.
Rachna Mangeshkar, Lata Mangeshkar's niece, confirmed the news to ANI. Rachna told the news agency that Lata Mangeshkar is experiencing slight symptoms. "She is doing well; she was just placed in the ICU for precautionary reasons due to her advanced age. Please keep Didi in your prayers and respect our privacy "Rachna Mangeshkar, singer Lata Mangeshkar's niece, told ANI.
She is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital's intensive care unit (ICU), where Dr Pratit Samdani and his colleagues are in charge.
For the uninitiated, Lata Mangeshkar was brought to the hospital in 2019 after experiencing lung difficulties.
Lata Mangeshkar turned 92 last year. She celebrated her birthday with her immediate relatives. While her birthday was spent with her immediate family, her fans and industry colleagues greeted her with love, wishes, and blessings on social media.
