Punjab is ready for change this time: Arvind Kejriwal

The results of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Election-2021 have been announced, with the Aam Aadmi Party coming out on top. AAP has given BJP a major setback. Following the electoral victory in Chandigarh, AAP President and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a major declaration.

“This triumph in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections is a foreshadowing of the victory in the Punjab polls. AAP is now set to make a huge impact in Punjab”, Kejriwal tweeted.

AAP has won 14 seats out of 35, while the BJP won 12 seats, Congress won five seats and Shiromani Akali Dal emerged victorious in one seat.

Raghav Chadha, a member of the AAP’s Legislative Assembly, stated, “Arvind Kejriwal’s government is based on this paradigm. People were implored to give us a chance. In the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, both the BJP and the Congress have controlled for more than 12 years. People are now willing to give AAP a second opportunity.”
