The BJP's rallies draw large crowds and there is a lot of enthusiasm.

The BJP will win more assembly seats in western Uttar Pradesh than the last election: Thakur, Anurag.

According to Union minister Anurag Thakur, the BJP would win more seats in western Uttar Pradesh than in the previous assembly elections, and the farmers' protest had little impact on popular opinion in the region.

Thakur, who is also the BJP's Uttar Pradesh election coordinator, expressed confidence that the party will win more than 300 seats in the state as a result of the party's actions against "Gunda raj," "unprecedented" development, and public welfare.

"We brought the (farm) bills for the farmers' benefit. As (Prime Minister Narendra) Modiji stated, perhaps there was a weakness in our ability to communicate with the farmers.

Even if the bills were repealed, it was done for the greater good of the country "When PTI questioned if the repeal of the agro laws will benefit the BJP in western Uttar Pradesh, he responded yes.

In the 403-member Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Western Uttar Pradesh has 76 seats. The BJP won 66 of the region's 76 seats in 2017, while the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Congress each got four, three, and two seats.

The Farm Laws Repeal Act repealed three farm laws passed by Parliament in September in the hopes of reforming the agriculture industry, notably farm produce marketing.

Farmers were opposed to three farm laws: the Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmer's (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.

According to Thakur, the Adityanath government put an end to "Gunda raj and mafia raj" in Uttar Pradesh, while the previous administration reportedly protected goons.

While the previous Samajwadi Party was accused of committing atrocities against women, he claims that under the Adityanath administration, no one can look at women in Uttar Pradesh with malice.

In response to a query about the Congress' women-centric approach to the Uttar Pradesh election campaign, Thakur said the Sonia Gandhi-led party had partnered with individuals who perpetrated crimes against women during the previous assembly elections.

In response to claims of dissatisfaction among Brahmins, Thakur stated that the BJP government at both the federal and state levels operates on the premise of "sab ka Saath sabka Vikas."

"4.5 lakh youths received jobs in the government sector, while three lakh got contractual work,” he added, adding that there was no discrimination based on caste.

"Jobs were offered in a transparent manner, which is the most important component, together with the improvement in the law and order situation," the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting said.
