The third wave of the pandemic has already begun in Bihar,according to Nitish Kumar.

Coronavirus cases are rapidly increasing across the country. In such a situation, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has begun in the state, and that all essential preparations are being done to halt the increase in coronavirus cases. Nitish commended doctors' involvement in saving lives during the previous two waves of the pandemic as he opened the 96th National Conference of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

Importantly, the Chief Minister of Bihar is one of the few major leaders of the National Democratic Alliance who openly accept the existence of a third COVID wave. 

According to Nitish, Bihar is already seeing the third wave of the Coronavirus pandemic. The warning was reportedly given by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar while speaking at the Indian Medical Association's (IMA) 96th national congress. 

Kumar, on the other hand, stated that the Bihar government is well prepared for the pandemic and is doing everything possible to combat it. He stated that the state's "health department is working hard to improve hospital facilities in accordance with standards set by the federal and state governments."
