A doctor from Bihar received five doses of COVID-19 vaccination , according to reports. Dr Vibha Kumari Singh, a civil surgeon, said, however, that she had only received the vaccines three times as required by law. 

She claimed that the vaccine had been obtained by someone else using her PAN card information and demanded an investigation. She received the first dose of the vaccine on January 28, 2021, and registered for the second dosage on March 12, 2021, according to the CoWIN portal. By March 2021, she had had all of her vaccinations. She also received the vaccine on February 6, 2021, using her PAN card, and for the fourth time on June 17, 2021, according to government data. On January 13, 2022, she received her sixth precautionary dose.

However, civil surgeon Dr Vibha Kumari Singh said that she had only got the immunizations three times, as required by law. 

"The administration has initiated an investigation," Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh stated. Those found guilty will face severe consequences." Meanwhile, the state health agency reported 3,526 new coronavirus cases on Monday, down 1,884 from Sunday's total, bringing the total to 7,90,652, with five new fatalities bringing the death toll to 12,141. 

Patna registered 1,035 new cases, down 540 from the previous day's total. According to a report provided by the state health department, the number of active cases in Patna has now reached 11,846. 

On Monday, there were 33,122 active cases in the state, with a total recovery of $7,453,389 dollars. In the recent past, five new casualties were recorded from the districts of Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, East Champaran, and Samastipur In the last 24 hours, districts have been created. So far, 6.36 crore samples have been screened for coronavirus, with 1.12 lakh being tested in the last 24 hours. 

So yet, only one verified case of the Omicron variety has been documented in the state.
