The government of Uttar Pradesh has unveiled an ambitious plan to construct a lotus-shaped fountain near Guptar Ghat in Ayodhya. This stunning spectacle is set to cost approximately Rs 100 crore and is designed to accommodate an impressive audience of 25,000 people at once.

The proposed fountain will take on the form of a majestic lotus flower, with cascading water reaching an astounding height of about 50 meters. However, it's important to note that this visionary project will be completed after the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, as it is still in its early planning stages.

Awaiting the next steps

While the Ayodhya administration has identified the designated land for the project, the crucial bidding process involving prominent global agencies is yet to commence. District Magistrate of Ayodhya, Neetish Kumar, has expressed great enthusiasm for this project, emphasizing that it will captivate devotees and tourists from across the world.

He also noted that the fountain's location will be approximately 1.5 kilometers away from the temple. Although the proposal for this grand fountain has been finalized, it awaits the transition from concept to reality, promising to be a remarkable addition to Ayodhya's landscape in the future.
