AAP terms Union Budget as pro-capitalist, anti-farmers; nothing for farmers, youth and women

-Under BJP's 'Amrit Kaal' diamonds have become cheaper and flour is expensive: Malvinder Kang

-Unemployment rate is the worst in history because of 'Achhe Din', only god knows what will happen in 'Amrit Kaal' Period: Kang

- Says, Punjab and farmers of Punjab ignored once again in budget, BJP's anti-Punjab stand has been exposed yet again

 Chandigarh, February 2

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) termed the 'Amrit Kaal' budget of the BJP government as pro-capitalist and said that there is nothing in this budget for farmers, youth and women. Lashing out at Centre, AAP said that the  Centre government has dedicated the entire budget to its capitalist friends like Adani.

Addressing a press conference with party spokesperson Advocate Govinder Mittal and Advocate Ravinder Singh from the party's office here on Thursday, AAP Punjab Chief Spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang said that BJP's 'Amrit Kaal' is just like Modi's 'Achhe Din', a 'Jumla'. He said that the Finance Minister's claim about doubling the income of the citizens of the country is the same as BJP's 2014 promise of giving Rs 15 lakh to every citizen in their accounts and people are aware of the reality of it.

Taking a jibe at the central government, Kang said that in BJP's 'Amrit Kaal' diamonds have become cheaper and flour has become expensive. PM Narendra Modi, who promised to double the income of farmers in 2014, doubled and tripled the rates of everything related to agriculture, fertilizers, seeds, oil etc., except their income and the farmers are under dire financial crisis due to the  central government's anti-farmer policies.

He said that BJP's budget has nothing for farmers, youth, women and backward classes, because the BJP government is only interested in pleasing its capitalist friends. In the 'Achhe Dinn' of 2014, Narendra Modi had promised 2 crore jobs every year, but today the country is facing the worst unemployment rate in history, so only god knows what they'll in this 'Amrit Kaal'.

Malvinder Kang said that once PM Modi had stated that in the BJP regime those with 'havai chappal' would do 'havai safar', but after 'Adani-karan', the situation is that common people are even unable to travel by train. He said that the government is promoting income tax rebate while common people don't even have income due to demonetisation, GST, unemployment and high inflation rates.

Kang reminded the Modi government that before the 'Achhe Din', India had a debt of 53 lakh crores, which is now 150 lakh crores, so can the BJP tell what will be the situation after the 'Amrit Kaal'.

Kang also slammed the BJP government for not giving any special package to Punjab in this budget and said that once again BJP's anti-Punjab face has been exposed. He said that no mention of Punjab, border land farmers and crop diversity in the budget is a discrimination against the people of Punjab.

Kang added that once again, by reducing the health and education budgets, the BJP has proved that it is an anti-people government. But the people of our country are wise and this will prove to be the last budget of the BJP government as people will soon teach a lesson to BJP's for their anti-people policies.
