Bhandara was organized by shankar seva Dal on the occasion of Magh Purnima

Today, a huge Bhandara was organized by Gauri Shankar Seva Dal Gaushala Sector 45 G on the occasion of Magh Purnima in which thousands of devotees took langar and got the blessings of Gau Mata.

The member of Gauri Shankar Seva Dal told thatMagh Purnima is very important. Magh Purnima is considered very special for those seekers who stay on the banks of the Sangam river in the month of Magh, meditate with fasting and take a bath with restraint and complete the tradition of their Kalpavas on the day of Magh Purnima.

 It is believed that on the holy day of Magh  Purnima, Shri Hari Vishnu resides in the Ganges water. Therefore, on this day, the special result of bathing in the Ganges is obtained. According to astrology, on the full moon of Magh month, the Moon is situated in Magh Nakshatra and Leo.

this day is called Magh Purnima. According to the belief, the deities also come to Prayag for bathing in the Ganges on Magh Purnima, so bathing in the Ganges on the full moon date of Magh month is considered very auspicious. And also get the blessings of Lord Satyanarayan ji.
