Bihar to build multipurpose structures on Waqf Board Land, establish 21 new Madrasas

The Bihar government is planning to develop land registered under the Sunni and Shia Waqf Boards by constructing multipurpose buildings, wedding halls, market complexes, and other structures. This initiative, announced by Minority Welfare Minister Zama Khan, aims to enhance the value and use of Waqf properties across the state.

New Madrasas and Infrastructure Projects

As part of this development, the government will also establish 21 new madrasas under the Bihar Rajya Madarsa Sudridhikaran Yojna (BRMSY). Ten madrasas have already been completed, and the new ones will be spread across different parts of the state. The BRMSY will also provide essential facilities like drinking water, libraries, toilets, and computer science labs to strengthen madrasa infrastructure.
