Shilpa Shetty's Bastian Restaurant hit by robbery: Customer's ₹80 lakh BMW stolen

Shilpa Shetty Kundra's restaurant, Bastian, located on the 48th floor of Kohinoor Square in Dadar, experienced a theft on Sunday. A luxurious BMW Z4 worth ₹80 lakh was stolen from the parking lot while a customer was dining. The incident took place around 2 am when Ruhan Firoz Khan, a 34-year-old businessman from Bandra, had just arrived with two friends.

Ruhan handed over his car keys to the restaurant's valet. After finishing their meal, he requested the parking staff to bring his car, only to find that it was missing. The restaurant staff reviewed the CCTV footage and confirmed that the car was stolen around 2 am by unknown thieves. The police have begun an investigation into the incident.

Police investigation underway

Following Ruhan's report, the Shivaji Park police have filed a case under section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, which addresses theft. Ruhan's lawyer, Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh, mentioned that the police are actively checking the CCTV footage to identify the suspects involved in the theft.

Bastian, owned by Shilpa Shetty, is known for its fine dining experience and stunning views of the city. It has become a favorite spot for Mumbai's wealthy residents. Shilpa Shetty, a well-known Bollywood actress and wellness influencer, has built a successful career since her debut in the 1993 film *Baazigar*, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Apart from acting, she is an entrepreneur with investments in fitness and health, including her restaurant chain. Shilpa is married to businessman Raj Kundra, and they have two children, Viaan and Samisha. The family often shares glimpses of their life on social media, highlighting their close bond.
