BSF hands over Pakistani youth to the Pakistan Rangers
The BSF handed back a Pakistani guy who had unintentionally crossed the international boundary to Pakistani security authorities on Saturday. The man, known as Gumano, a resident of Undher in Pakistan’s Tharparkar district, had left his home after a fight with his family, according to the BSF Gujarat Frontier.
As a gesture of goodwill, he was handed over to the Pakistan Rangers. He has ten siblings and is epileptic. He comes from a poor family. He unintentionally crossed the international border between February 9 and 10 and arrived at the Kuda-Chapariya link road, where he was detained by 56 Bn BSF troops,” the statement stated.
The man was dehydrated, and BSF personnel gave him food and drink, according to the report, which also stated that he was given over following a series of flag meetings. According to BSF officials, a similar handover of a Pakistani national took place on January 5 this year.
He inadvertently crossed International Border on the intervening night of February 9/10, 2022 and reached Kuda-Chapariya link Road where he was apprehended by troops of 56 Battalion of the BSF. He was in a dehydrated state when BSF troops provided him food and water.
On humanitarian grounds and as a goodwill gesture Pak youth was handed over by BSF to Pak Rangers after a series of flag meetings.
