BTS unveils mysterious 2024 Festa timeline to celebrate 11th anniversary

K-pop sensation BTS is about to celebrate their 11th anniversary, and excitement is in the air with the announcement of their annual Festa celebrations. Fans, known as ARMY, are eagerly anticipating the group’s activities, especially with the possibility of a reunion next year. The eldest member, Jin, is expected to return from his military service in two weeks, adding to the excitement.

Festa timeline and activities

On June 1 (KST), BTS revealed their purple-themed Festa timeline with cryptic markers. The week-long celebration kicks off on Sunday, June 2, with the first reveal. Bang Bang Con ticket sales start on Tuesday, June 4. More visual and musical surprises are planned for June 5 and 6. The Bang Bang Con live-streaming event will be held on June 8, with the festivities continuing until June 13. A heartfelt “See You” message on the timeline has fans curious about what’s to come.

Anticipation and surprises

Every year, the Festa includes special gifts for fans, such as unseen photos, video releases, and new songs. Last year, the Bang Bang Con event featured a livestream of BTS concerts on Weverse and YouTube, and Jimin surprised fans with an acoustic live performance. The highlight was the release of the OT7 single “Take Two” before June 13.

This year, fans expect more surprise tracks and gifts. Although BTS is on hiatus until 2025, the celebrations promise to keep the spirit alive. Jin is expected to be discharged from military service around June 15, just in time for the anniversary. His animated character Wootteo recently posted again, sparking excitement about his return. Fans hope Jin might collaborate with Coldplay again, as he is the only member without a solo album.
