CAT 2023 application timeline

The application process for CAT 2023 commenced on September 13, offering aspiring management students an opportunity to take a significant step towards their future career aspirations.

Subsequently, IIM Lucknow will release the admit cards for CAT 2023 on October 25, paving the way for candidates to prepare diligently for the examination. The highly anticipated entrance test is scheduled to take place on November 26, with testing centers spread across 155 cities to accommodate candidates from various regions.

Eligibility criteria and application fee

To apply for CAT 2023, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks or an equivalent CGPA. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories are required to have a minimum of 45 percent marks.

The application fee for CAT 2023 is ₹1,200 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, while other candidates will need to pay ₹2,400.

Results and admission process

Following the exam, CAT results are anticipated to be announced by the second week of January 2024. It is crucial to note that while qualifying in CAT is a significant achievement, it does not guarantee admission.
