Chandigarh Pradesh Congress Committee protests in front of SBI headquarter
Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee today organised a massive protest against Adani Group and Modi led Bjp government in front of SBI head office in sector 17 chandigarh. The protest was led by H s Lucky President Chandigarh Congress. The protestors carrying placards and banners raised slogans against crony capitalism, bending of rules and regulations only to benefit selected corporate friends of the Modi Government and forceful investment in the Adani Group by government bodies.
Addressing the protestors H s lucky said that it was due to the patronage of Modi government that LIC with 39 crore policy holder, SBI and other public sector Banks advanced colossal amont loans to the tune of Rs 80000 crores to the Adani Group which is only possible because of unfair advantages given to the group by the Modi regime.
Lucky demanded impartial investigation under the Chief Justice of India or Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe the Hinderburg Research report , in detail and also into forceful and dubious investment by LIC, SBI and other nationalized banks. These matters should be discussed in the Parliament and appropriate action should be taken to protect the investors hard earned money.
Due to anti Public policy of the Modi government to unjustly monetarily enrich and favour the Adani Group ,LIC has lost Rs 33060 crores of the Public and further public sector Banks have been put on risk, added Lucky.
Large number of Office Bearers of chandigarh congress and workers including councillors, District presidents, heads of frontal organisations , block presidents, chairmen of cells participated in this massive protest.
