Chandigarh Weather Alert: Anticipating Heavy Rain for Two Days as Fresh Western Disturbance Approaches!

Chandigarh is bracing itself for significant weather changes in the coming days, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts heavy rainfall on Friday and Saturday. This is due to a fresh Western Disturbance (WD) making its way towards the city. On Thursday, the city experienced 0.8 mm of rain, and the IMD has now issued a release warning of more rain for the next four days, with the possibility of thunderstorms extending until Monday. As a precautionary measure, the IMD has issued a yellow alert, the second-highest level in its four-color warning system, urging residents to stay informed and vigilant.
