China's military advancement
China's ascendant influence: A global concern
China's threat and military power
Indian-American Republican presidential hopeful, Nikki Haley, has sounded a strong alarm about China's intentions, branding it an "existential threat" not only to the United States but to the world. She emphasized that China has been meticulously planning to surpass America for over five decades.
In her address in New Hampshire, she went further to claim that, in certain aspects, China's military capabilities are already on par with those of the United States. She also pointed out that China's aggressive actions, such as infiltrating American industries, have contributed to its rapid economic ascent, making it the world's second-largest economy.
China's ambitious goals and military buildup
Haley asserted that China's ultimate aim is to become the world's dominant superpower, and the Chinese Communist Party's motives are clear. She raised concerns about China's remarkable advancements in military technology and its expanding military presence.

Furthermore, she argued that China's leaders are so self-assured that they've begun deploying spy balloons in American airspace and are establishing a spy base near Cuba. In her view, these actions demonstrate China's readiness for conflict and their determination to emerge victorious in any potential war.
Haley's economic plan
Apart from addressing China's threat, Haley outlined her economic plan, which centers on providing financial relief to middle-class Americans. She proposed significant tax cuts for middle-class families, including the elimination of federal gas and diesel taxes to ease the burden of rising fuel prices. Haley also pledged to cut income taxes and eliminate green energy subsidies while vowing to bring government spending back to pre-pandemic levels.

In addition, she advocated for term limits for politicians and bureaucrats to ensure accountability in government and prevent power imbalances. Haley underscored that public service should be viewed as a privilege rather than a right, emphasizing her commitment to safeguarding individual freedoms.
