Ludhiana Congress leaders slam CM Mann for remarks against Rahul Gandhi
Congress leaders in Ludhiana strongly criticized Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for his comments about Rahul Gandhi. They accused Mann of trying to please the BJP, especially Home Minister Amit Shah, while facing problems within his own party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Large protest in Ludhiana
The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee organized a big protest against CM Mann’s statements. The demonstration was held outside the Congress office on Tibba Road and led by former MLA and district Congress president Sanjay Talwar. Many Congress leaders and workers participated in the protest.
During the protest, Talwar accused Mann of using offensive language against Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that this was part of Mann’s political strategy to gain favor with the BJP. The Congress leaders also highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, a 4,080-km journey across India, as an effort to unite people. They said Mann was misleading the public with false promises, unlike Gandhi’s work for national unity.

Congress Leaders condemn the remarks
Congress leaders stated that Rahul Gandhi’s increasing popularity was making opposition parties like AAP uncomfortable. They alleged that AAP was trying to spread false information about Gandhi to counter his growing support. However, they assured that such political conspiracies would not succeed.
Many senior Congress leaders joined the protest, including Shyam Sunder Malhotra, Harjinder Pal Lali, Monu Khinda, Sarabjit Satta, and others. They vowed to continue opposing any attempts to damage Rahul Gandhi’s reputation.
