Ekta Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut visit to Bangla Sahib gurudwara
In Delhi, Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor will premiere the Lock Upp trailer. The two were seen seeking blessings at the Bangla Sahib gurudwara before of the occasion.
Actress Kangana Ranaut and producer Ekta Kapoor are in Delhi to promote the Lock Upp teaser. Kangana Ranaut will imprison 16 problematic celebrities for 72 days and hold them accountable in the prisoner reality programme. The two females were seen seeking blessings for their fresh beginning at the Bangla Sahib gurudwara in the city prior to the occasion.
Kangana looked ethereal in her traditional avatar, dressed in a royal blue salwar suit with golden patterns. As she walked inside, she covered her head with a dupatta, as is customary in such a hallowed area. For the photographers, the actor posed with his hands folded. Ekta Kapoor wore a white salwar suit to the event. The police also caught them worshipping inside the gurudwara.
Kangana Ranaut unveiled the show’s poster and teaser a few days ago. The actor brought her no-holds-barred personality to life in the teaser video. She was seen taking a joke at folks who stay in the news by criticizing her in response to her detractors. From ‘B-grade strugglers’ to nepotism, the performer claims it’s time to avenge those who turned her life into a 24-hour reality show.
But now it’s my turn, because I’m bringing the largest reality show’s baap with me. This is my prison, with my own set of laws, where 16 problematic celebrities will be imprisoned. In Hindi, Kangana added, “And I will decide what will happen to the celebs.”
Ekta Kapoor has described Kangana Ranaut as a “disrupter” and said she was the first pick for the show because it required an outspoken attitude. Kangana added that, like most of her endeavours, Lock Upp is a big part of her life. “I’ve already read every contestant’s profile and am curious about their background. She went on to say, “It’s going to be an explosive show.”
Kangana and Ekta were seen inside the gurudwara with their hands clasped in prayer in one of the videos. They prayed on their knees as well. As they left the gurudwara, Kangana and Ekta posed for photos. Following their visit, the crew will release the show’s trailer.
Kangana had stated during the show’s premiere regarding the project, “I’m delighted to be venturing into the OTT world with such a unique and wonderful premise. ALTBalaji and MX Player are both big in terms of scale and reach. As the presenter of Lock Upp, I am confident that this show will provide me with a fantastic opportunity to connect with my fans and entertain them.”
She had also stated, “I’d like to express my gratitude to Ekta, the boss lady, for always being by my side; she has always been someone I adore and respect greatly. I’m thrilled she’ll be present for my OTT debut as well. Prepare yourself, my fans, for the most courageous concert you’ve ever seen.”
Kangana confirmed the news on her Instagram Stories earlier this month, writing, “I’m going to host my very first programme! For @ektakapoor, the lady boss.” She later deleted it, though.
Kangana Ranaut has announced the completion of her upcoming debut film Tiku Weds Sheru. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur act in the major roles. Manikarnika Films, Kangana’s production firm, is producing the film for the first time. The movie will be released in theatres first, then streamed via Amazon Prime Video.
Kangana just completed filming for her forthcoming flick Tejas. She has Dhaakad, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda, Emergency, and The Incarnation: Sita in addition to Tejas.
