IIFA 2025 marked the 25th anniversary of the prestigious awards. The celebrations took place over two days in Jaipur, on March 8 and 9 (Saturday and Sunday). The first day featured the IIFA Digital Awards, while the second day was reserved for the film awards ceremony.

In an interview with ANI, Nitanshi Goel shared her thoughts on the big win. She said, "I wasn't expecting this. I hoped Laapataa Ladies would win, but I never imagined I would win Best Actress. The other nominees were amazing, and I'm a fan of all of them. I’m overwhelmed by the love and support."

She also spoke about the emotional moment when she broke down in tears. "It’s become a thing now," she joked. "I couldn’t stop crying because winning this award is a dream come true for every actor. I’m just so thankful."
