Successful applicants must meet specific requirements, including holding a university degree in the required specialty and having equivalent domestic qualifications if the degree was obtained from abroad. The aim of offering these vacancies is to ensure qualified education staff to meet national objectives and enhance education efficiency for global competitiveness.

Additionally, the Saudi Education Ministry recently announced plans to introduce earth and space sciences in the secondary school curriculum starting from the next academic year. This move follows the successful completion of a 10-day mission to the International Space Station (ISS) by two Saudi astronauts. Teaching earth and space sciences aims to cultivate positive attitudes towards space science among students, aligning with international curricula standards and national criteria.

The ministry's efforts to introduce new subjects and qualifications aim to prepare internationally competitive citizens and meet the evolving needs of the future and labor market. It reflects the country's commitment to keeping pace with global changes and aspirations while fostering a well-prepared workforce.
